Good Louis
Brooklyn-based duo of Good Louis, formed by singer-songwriter Patrick Owen and keyboardist-producer Jerry Borgé, has re-emerged as an exciting new force in the indie music scene. The two first met years ago during a recording session in East Los Angeles for Patrick’s previous band, Duniven, where Jerry joined as a keyboardist and musical director.
Their shared love for artists such as Dylan, Bowie, Lennon, Petty, Strokes and Jackson Browne has greatly influenced their unique sound, which combines classic rock elements with modern indie vibes. Good Louis debuted their live performance in December last year at Berlin in New York City, marking the beginning of their journey as a duo.
Previously, Duniven gained notable recognition, featuring heavily on KCRW and performing across the country, including a significant show at CMJ. This success prompted Patrick Owen to move across the country from Los Angeles to New York, seeking a deeper connection with the city’s east coast music scene.
