Bikini Drone is the soundtrack to the sonic dreams of singer/songwriter/producer and longtime resident of the Pacific Northwest Sloan Martin. He brings an equal measure of song craft and studio improvisation to his music. At times it is dreamy with flourishes of psychedelia and swirly synths, others are more quiet and minimalistic. His singles are often sewn together with a danceable backbeat, funky turnarounds, and cinematic lyrics that translate the wild world we now inhabit and glimpse a future we may. Reflecting on his time spent in discotheques around the globe, along it's coastlines and deserts, and street cafes, absorbing atmospheric desert rock, surf-y sandcore, world music, spy-pop grooves. Channeling these experiences into sound is his passion, his obsession.
