One by one, classical guitarist and composer, Kristen Cudmore, brought songs to Grammy-winning producer David Bottrill (Tool, Smashing Pumpkins, Peter Gabriel) and Juno-winning producer, Joel Stouffer (Dragonette, Lowell, Serena Ryder) and together, they produced this collection of songs that travel through her time, healing from a traumatic brain injury.
Akin to Beck, each record, from Language Arts, is a new departure from her previous releases: "Wonderkind" (2014) and "Able Island" (2015). The band has created a polished sound that nods at New Wave to Vapourware; and Art-Pop to Dance Music. Fragments of Stereolab, Grizzly Bear, Ladytron and Psycadellic Furs can be found scattered throughout this set of work, aptly titled, Lemon//Lime.
