Bobby Rush
Bobby Rush is a legendary American blues musician known for blending blues, soul, and funk. Over a career spanning more than six decades, he has released over 25 albums. Rush achieved a major milestone by winning his first Grammy Award in 2017 for Porcupine Meat in the Best Traditional Blues Album category and his most recent win came in 2024 for All My Love For You, which earned him the Best Traditional Blues Album award. He also earned another Grammy nomination in 2021 for Rawer Than Raw.
Known for his captivating live performances, he is inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame, Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame, and Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame. Rush continues to influence the blues scene, celebrating both tradition and innovation.
