Lisa Rono
Lisa Rono was born in Medford, Oregon in 1987. Music has always been an integral part of her life, especially singing. She was trained in classical piano from a young age and studied saxophone from the age of 11 through college (classical and jazz). She began playing guitar and writing her own songs in college. Her influences include artists and songs from many genres: jazz, country, gospel, and singer/songwriter. She released her first EP in August of 2015 entitled, “To be Called Happy,” in conjunction with her first music video to the song, “Come Back to Me,” which was written in memory of her late grandparents. She currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
